Miami.- The city of Miami illuminates the skyscraper with the tallest digital panel in the world in homage to the notable 50-year musical career of the Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan and the release this week of her new album, 'Raíces'.

The 60-story, 213-meter-tall Paramount Miami Worldcenter skyscraper features an impressive 91-meter digital screen with the image of the nine-time Grammy-winning artist, projecting a flash over the city that adopted her as one of its favorite daughters.

The tribute also coincides with the release of his new album, 'Raíces', whose main song dominates the Latin Pop, Latin Airplay and Tropical Airplay charts of Billboard magazine in North America and South America.

The lead song from their new album, 'Raíces', illuminates the entire superstructure, while a moving animated mosaic, inspired by Andy Warhol's style, with some iconic images of Estefan adds an artistic touch to the show.

The building's facade even transforms into a colorful collage of disco dancers, evoking the energy and spirit of Estefan's rise to fame in the 1970s and 1980s as part of the 'Miami Sound Machine', founded with her husband, Emilio Estefan. Daniel Kodsi, developer of the Paramount Miami Worldcenter and CEO of Royal Palm Companies, revealed that the skyscraper has a sophisticated LED lighting system, "whose design and installation cost three million dollars and that a team of twelve technicians took three years to design."

"The system consists of eight kilometers of cable connecting 13,400 light-emitting diodes (LEDs), integrated into 10,000 window frames, and can create a combination of 16 million colors," he detailed. Kodsi clarified that despite its striking visual impact, the cost of the building's nighttime illumination is only 34 dollars.

The building's lights will continue to shine in tribute to Estefan from this Thursday until May 31, 2025, illuminating the night environment every night for five minutes at the beginning and end of each hour, from 8:00 PM to midnight.
