Santo Domingo.- The renowned sports analyst Víctor Vargas, known as “Boletrí”, is going through one of the most difficult moments of his life after being diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer, classified as Gleason 8.
Boletrí, known for his charisma and his peculiar style when commenting on baseball and other sports, faces urgent treatment that includes surgery, specialized studies, medication, and rigorous medical follow-up.
Faced with this situation, his family, coworkers, and friends have launched a fundraising campaign through the GoFundMe platform, with an initial goal of $16,000.
The call for solidarity is directed to all those who have enjoyed the talent and energy of Boletrí, whether through radio or social media.
