The winners

Dominicans Jilberto Santana and Soranyi Rodríguez achieved first place overall in the 21KM distance. Santana won in the top men's category with a time of 1:05:52, while in the women's division Rodríguez finished with a time of 1:16:44 Similarly, Sahira Sahdalá, Promotions and Sponsorship Manager at Claro Dominicana, highlighted that this edition included RD$3 million in prizes, reaffirming the magnitude of the event and its impact within the sports community. The 10K and 21K routes are certified by World Athletics in coordination with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), which raises the technical level of the event and makes it an attractive competition for experienced runners. In terms of logistics and security, the event had more than 400 security components, 11 ambulances, 10 hydration points along the route, as well as sports drink stations strategically distributed along the course and at the finish line. For the convenience of runners and spectators, more than 2,000 free parking spaces were enabled at strategic points in the city. Furthermore, as part of its commitment to sustainability, Claro Dominicana incorporated responsible waste management actions during the event, promoting the collection of plastic bottles for recycling and their reincorporation into the circular economy through the NUVI PET Integrated Waste Management System, with the support of its collaborators from the Claro Volunteers Network. To this end, more than 70 containers and more than 15 supersacks were installed at the hydration points, thus reaffirming the company's commitment to a more sustainable Dominican Republic. As part of the innovations of this edition, Claro also enabled its own registration platform, designed to offer a more intuitive and efficient experience to participants. Through this tool, 3,000 runners registered for the 5-kilometer distance, 2,000 for the 10 kilometers, and 1,200 for the 21 kilometers. The Claro Half Marathon was supported by important allies who joined in the promotion of well-being and sports in the country, including Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Banco Popular, Gatorade, Planeta Azul, Michelob Ultra, Bon, Café Santo Domingo, Molinos del Sol, Sambil, U Sign, Gingerly, Recovery Sport Lab, Body Shop, Quisqueya CrossFit, CDN, Color Visión and SIN.
