The president blamed former President Joe Biden and his "stupid open border policy" for the entry of these people into the country. Trump was asked about the alleged existence of these groups in the country after the United States issued an internal alert to law enforcement agencies warning that Iran could be activating so-called 'sleeper cells' outside its territory, as reported this Monday by the American network ABC News. According to the media, U.S. authorities have intercepted encrypted communications believed to have originated in Tehran that could serve as an "operational trigger" for "sleeper cells" outside the country, according to a federal government alert that law enforcement agencies reportedly received. The alert refers to a "preliminary analysis" of signals that was rebroadcast to several countries after the death of the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in the joint US-Israeli bombings of February 28.

Since the beginning of the attacks on Iran within the framework of the US and Israel's Epic Fury operation, the FBI has instructed its agents to monitor persons of interest within the United States who might be activated or react to the bombings, as well as potential threats called 'sleeper cells' terrorists in the country.
