In Bánica, Jima Abajo and San Juan de la Maguana, nights filled with music and culture will be experienced
Santo Domingo, R.D. – The cultural platform Festituricarnaval has the backing of President Luis Abinader, who has promoted this project with the aim that the Dominican people keep their identity and culture alive, allowing families to enjoy great stars of our music completely free of charge. This initiative reaffirms the current administration's commitment to the democratization of entertainment and the strengthening of popular traditions in every corner of the country. To date, Festituricarnaval has managed to gather more than 600,000 people, who have enjoyed live performances by the main exponents of bachata, merengue, dembow, typical merengue, and Caribbean fusions. This massive success is the result of a determined support for folklore and the entertainment industry, known as the orange economy, which boosts local and international tourism and generates a significant economic impact in each city where it takes place. You may be interested in: Concerts of the FESTITURICARNAVAL continue throughout the country
