Following Patricia Bullrich's surprising statements, in which she asked Manuel Adorni to present his sworn statement "immediately," Javier Milei anticipated that the Chief of Staff intends to show the figures to justify his expenses before the deadline of July 31st.
“Manuel was on it, he already has the numbers. What Patricia did is spoil. Manuel has the numbers and that's not a problem. He's speaking to be able to present the numbers sooner and end all these fantasies engendered by a great liar like Marcela Pagano”, he affirmed in dialogue with LN+.
Then, the head of state said again that the whole matter is a campaign against him: “Journalism cannot violate the principle of presumption of innocence, as they regularly do, making summary judgments and condemning. I believe that you are not above the Constitution.”He also didn't show anger towards Bullrich: “I wasn't bothered in the least by what Patricia said, it's a topic she had discussed with me before I traveled”.

And he ratified that he will not fire Adorni: “He's not going anywhere. I'm calm, Adorni is an honest person, a good person”. “The things that Adorni presented to me were in order. When someone is dirty I have no problem executing someone. I know that Adorni is not dirty, he is clean”, he stated. In that vein, he challenged anyone who wanted to ask the Chief of Staff to step down: "I am the president. If anyone doesn't like what I decide, they'll have to put up with it or leave. I have protected every time they have attacked one of my ministers with slander. Knowing that they are clean, I defended them. I will not change my way of protecting my collaborators when they are honest." Meanwhile, he strongly defended the Chief of Staff: "I will not execute an innocent person because it hurt the journalists' egos". And he added: "I don't govern for the image, I govern to be the best government in Argentine history, which I am doing. Next year Argentinians will decide if they want four more years of Milei or not, and there is no problem. If in the meantime, by doing things right, the image deteriorates, well, that's life." "The decision to maintain this course, which I am the only one who had the courage to set in motion, because ideas are not declaimed, they are acted upon. In 2027, Argentinians will determine if they want to continue embracing the ideas of freedom and move towards becoming a power, or if they prefer the caveman model to be Cuba, there is no problem. If the people decide to return to failure, we have no problem, we will go back to work in the private sector," he continued.
