Valverde, RD. – A group of thirteen 13 Haitian nationals in an irregular migratory condition was located through the use of drones and arrested during an operation carried out in the Pueblo Nuevo sector, of the municipality of Mao, Valverde province.
In the operation, air units and ground patrols of the Dominican Republic Army (ERD) participated, who managed to intercept the foreigners, including nine (09) men and four (04) women, who were hiding among plantations in the area.

The undocumented immigrants were transferred under military custody to the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Brigade of the ERD, from where they will be handed over to the General Directorate of Migration for repatriation purposes.
