San Francisco de Macorís.- The Public Ministry and the National Police arrested this Friday a bailiff linked to the murder of Luis Gustavo Grullón De Aza (Nini), 23 years old, which occurred last August in front of the Palace of Justice of San Francisco de Macorís, in the province of Duarte.
The detainee was identified as Antonio Yhosue Morel Artiles, alias Yoshue el Balbú, who works as a court bailiff of the Court of Appeals of the Judicial Department of San Francisco de Macorís. The arrest took place during a raid on his residence, according to a statement from the Public Ministry. With Morel Artiles, there are now three people arrested for their alleged involvement in the homicide. The Public Ministry accuses those involved of having caused the shooting death of Grullón De Aza on the morning of last August 26, in an event that is still under investigation. It is expected that in the coming hours a coercive measure will be requested against Morel Artiles.
