SANTO DOMINGO.– President Luis Abinader confirmed this Monday that the Dominican Government and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are designing new strategies against drug trafficking, which he described as “much more extensive” and “much more profound”.

The Head of State also reported that next Saturday he will hold a meeting with the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States House of Representatives, where the Haitian crisis and other regional security issues will be addressed.“I have to admit that yes, we are going to plan much more extensive, much deeper actions… they (the DEA) trust our collaboration quite a bit,” Abinader pointed out.
