La Victoria, Santo Domingo Norte.– The José Méndez Baseball Academy, where the teenager Anser Daniel Rincón Fabián trained, remains closed after the discovery of the minor's body in a lagoon located behind its facilities, while his parents denounce that they have not yet received official explanations about what happened.
Since the incident occurred, the doors of the sports complex remain closed and no formal version has been offered to the family, according to the parents of the 15-year-old.
Anser's parents claim that, so far, no authority from the center has contacted them to detail the circumstances in which the teenager was last seen, nor what happened in the hours before his death.
The case has generated consternation in the community of La Victoria and in the sports world, where the young man was considered a prospect with talent and dedication to baseball.
