Santo Domingo. - Hernani Aquino, promoter of the Patriotic Campaign "RD Por Lo Alto" expressed his deep concern about the widespread non-compliance with Law 225-20 on Integral Management and Co-processing of Solid Waste, especially regarding the prohibition of the use of foam for food and beverage packaging, as well as the free delivery of plastic bags in commercial establishments, in force since October 2, 2025.
This alarming non-compliance is compounded by the imminent enactment or possible observance of a bill that aims to extend the effective application of this prohibition for three more years.
