Santo Domingo.- The movement Participación Ciudadana (PC) asked this Tuesday the Public Ministry to investigate the congressmen and former congressmen who have not presented their sworn declaration of assets.
Information provided by the Accounting Chamber, at the request of PC, reveals that 20 deputies elected in 2024 and 78 who concluded that same year have not submitted their sworn statements.You may be interested in: National Institute of Student Welfare
The deputies who have not complied with this obligation established in law 311-14 are Sergio Moya, Melvin Lara, Kinsberly Taveras, Juana Castillo, José Rodríguez, Jheyson García, Eugenio Cedeño, Eudy de la Cruz, Esmeralda Mancebo, Carmen Morel, Carlos Gil, Ángel Sánchez and Adelso Rubén Contreras, according to a statement from the PC. Likewise, the Dominican representatives in the Central American Parliament (Parlacen) Socorro Monegro Ramón Gori, Rafael Chalas, Namibia Didiez, Ismael Reyes and Enmanuel Polanco, added the information. There are also seven former senators pending to make their departure declaration: Bautista Rojas, David Sosa, Ivan Silva, José del Castillo, Lenin Valdez, Martin Nolasco and Ramón Pimentel.
