Peralta, Azua.– This Friday morning, a landslide on the access road to the El Alto sector, in the municipality of Peralta, caused by the intense rains of the last few hours, caused a pole holding the electrical wiring of the area to fall.
The residents of the sector made an urgent call to the Ministry of Public Works and the Municipal Council of Peralta to carry out the cleaning and removal of debris on the road. They also requested the Southern Electricity Distribution Company (EDESUR) to intervene as soon as possible to restore the service and eliminate the risk posed by the fallen wiring.

In other news, they reported that the El Hoyo sector and the surroundings of the Santo Domingo Coffee Industry factory have been without electricity for more than a week due to damage to a high-voltage cable, without the company having offered a solution so far. Residents pointed out that they are going through serious difficulties due to the lack of electricity service and demanded an immediate response from the competent authorities.
