La Vega.- The National Council for Disability (CONADIS) continues to strengthen the inclusion and well-being of people with disabilities throughout the country, by celebrating in the province of La Vega the seventh edition of its Social Inclusion Day “CONADIS For All”, a space that brings essential services and support devices to families in the region.
This day is part of the territorial deployment program that CONADIS executes in compliance with Law 5-13 on Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities, with the aim of guaranteeing comprehensive, accessible and timely care for this population.
The president of CONADIS, Benny Metz, highlighted the importance of these operations as an effective tool to facilitate access to public services and strengthen the social participation of people with disabilities.
"Each day of social inclusion seeks to positively transform the lives of people with disabilities and demonstrates that the Government is present in every corner of the country, working with and for all Dominicans," Metz said.

During the day, services for disability assessment and certification were provided, delivery of technical aids such as wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and canes, as well as specialized medical consultations, advice on social programs and guidance on rights and public services, positively impacting dozens of families in the province.
With these actions, CONADIS reaffirms its commitment to full inclusion, accessibility, and respect for the rights of people with disabilities throughout the national territory.
