He specified that the Dominican Republic is committed to tourism diversification and greater air connectivity, in order to recover the European market. "I must publicly say that the President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, has been a fundamental pillar for the growth of Dominican tourism," he emphasized. The official spoke during the 46th edition of the FITUR tourism fair, which is being held from this Wednesday the 21st and will run until Sunday, with the participation of more than 60 co-exhibitors and the presence of the main commercial banks in the country. In its first roadshow of 2026 in Europe, Collado presented the beautiful and diversified tourism offer of the Dominican Republic to 700 travel agents, tour operators, and other sector players.
