Santo Domingo Norte. – A Dominican-American woman died and at least four people were injured during a shooting that occurred on Friday night in front of an entertainment center in the Casa Vieja sector, in Villa Mella.

According to information provided by those close to the deceased, the incident occurred while the young woman was buying food outside the establishment, when several individuals traveling in a black vehicle opened fire on the place. During the shooting, the woman received bullet impacts that caused her death, while four other people were injured and were taken to health centers. The incident is being investigated by the National Police of the Dominican Republic, which does not rule out that the shooting is related to disputes between criminal gangs operating in the area.
