Edesur restores power in Ocoa communities after planned maintenance

San José de Ocoa, R.D. – The company Edesur Dominicana reported that the electricity service in the province of San José de Ocoa remains stable, after successfully concluding a scheduled maintenance carried out this Thursday in the municipality of Rancho Arriba and in the Cruce de Ocoa substation.

The distributor explained that the work was part of its preventive maintenance plan, which required a temporary interruption of service in the communities Cruce de Ocoa, Las Carreras, Los Ranchos, Las Mayitas and Los Pilones.

Edesur highlighted that the outage was previously announced since Wednesday, thus ensuring proper communication with the residents of the area. After completing the technical work, the electrical supply was restored normally, without registering failures that affected the stability of the system. The company reiterated its commitment to continue strengthening the quality of service throughout its concession area, prioritizing safety and efficiency in the electrical grid.
