Executive Branch orders extradition of two Dominicans and a Pole to the US and Poland

Santo Domingo. – The Executive Branch issued decrees No. 69-26, 70-26 and 71-26 which provide for the extradition of Dominican citizens Luis Manuel Febles Peralta and Christian Antonio Reynoso Pérez to the United States of America, and of Polish national Szymon Tomkiel to the Republic of Poland. The first is charged, among other charges, with criminal association to commit money laundering offenses and complicity in the international laundering of monetary instruments.

Among the charges filed against Christian Antonio Reynoso is the criminal association to import into the United States five kilograms or more of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine. Meanwhile, the extradition of the Polish citizen Szymon Tomkiel seeks the fulfillment of the sentence of the Regional Court of Suwalki, of March 7, 2016, in the procedure 11 K 82/13, namely: 2 years, 11 months and 23 days of deprivation of liberty for the crime provided for in Article 258 of the Polish Penal Code.
