Fugitive Randy Francisco Martínez remains at large, accused of murdering a coworker in Bávaro

Bávaro, La Altagracia. – Randy Francisco Martínez, 27, accused of taking the life of his coworker Ángelo Miguel de los Santos, 29, remains a fugitive from the National Police (PN), in an incident that occurred on May 27 at the company SEDOCC S.R.L. security, located on El Macao highway, in Bávaro. According to official reports, both men had only been working at the company for 15 days when they had a heated argument over a cap. In the midst of the confrontation, Martinez allegedly attacked De los Santos with a knife-like weapon, causing a wound to the left anterior hemithorax that proved fatal.

The body lift confirmed that the victim died minutes later as a result of the injury. Witnesses to the event, such as employee Frankiklin Sano Joseph, 31 years old, stated that the dispute began during the shift change. The mother of the deceased, Zoila de los Santos, denounced the murder of her son with tears and demanded justice in the face of the lack of timely responses from the authorities.
“My son went out to work and what they brought me was the news of his death. I don’t want this to go unpunished,” the woman expressed as she recounted the tragedy. The National Police reported that it is pursuing Randy Francisco Martinez, who brought the weapon into the workplace and fled after committing the act. The authorities urged the fugitive to turn himself in by the means he deems appropriate, to answer for the crime and avoid further consequences. Meanwhile, the family of Angelo de los Santos reiterated their call to the authorities to seek justice and ensure that this case does not go unpunished.
