Government will receive the final report on the metropolitan train in the first week of July

Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader announced this Monday that he will receive the final report of the Integrated Transportation Plan of Santo Domingo in the first week of July, which includes the development of the metropolitan train and other urban mobility works. During his participation in LA Semanal con la Prensa, the president explained that a specialized company is reviewing the entire technical and structural process of the project, and will be in charge of delivering the report that will allow progress on the financing agreement with the Government of France.

"We have a company that is doing an assessment, reviewing the entire process. In the first week of July they will deliver their final report," Abinader indicated.

The Integrated Plan also includes the Teleférico de Santo Domingo Oeste, which is being financed with resources from the Dominican government, and a new connection section towards Winston Churchill Avenue, which would link with the cable car in the 12 de Haina. During the same appearance, the president reviewed his recent international tour of France, Switzerland, and Brazil, focused on cooperation, economic diplomacy, and promotion of investments for the country.
