Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reports that during the morning hours of this Saturday we will observe a sky with scattered to partly cloudy skies at times and scarce precipitation.
However, in the afternoon until the early hours of the night, cloud developments generating local showers with possible thunderstorms and isolated gusts of wind will be occurring over the regions: north, northeast, southeast, the Central Mountain Range and the border area, especially in provinces such as: El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, Sánchez Ramírez, Samaná, Duarte, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Santiago, San Juan, Elías Piña, El Gran Santo Domingo (especially the northern part), among others nearby.
For tomorrow, Sunday, an anticyclonic circulation will be affecting, which will be limiting the formation of significant clouds and the accumulation of important rains.
However, local effects along with the weak surface trough in the northeast of the country favor occasional cloudiness with scattered showers, thunderstorms and possible wind gusts, especially during the afternoon until nightfall, over towns in the regions: northeast, southeast, the Central Mountain Range and the border area.
The temperatures will feel pleasant at night, early morning and the first hours of the morning, especially in mountainous areas and inland valleys.
