Madrid, Spain. – The technical vice minister of the Ministry of Tourism, Jacqueline Mora, projected Cabo Rojo, in Pedernales, as the main symbol of the new integral and innovative tourism model promoted by the Dominican Republic, highlighting it as a high-value destination that combines nature, exclusivity and sustainability, and that opens a strategic frontier for the development of the south of the country.
Mora emphasized that Cabo Rojo not only represents an opportunity for tourism growth, but also an invitation to invest with purpose, under a planned scheme that prioritizes environmental conservation, social inclusion, and long-term profitability.

"Our destinations are prepared to receive your ideas and to have you walk alongside us in this transformation process," he affirmed. The official explained that the project is conceived as a complete tourist ecosystem, with modern infrastructure, connectivity, high-standard services, and a differentiated proposal that positions the Dominican south as a new development pole. In that sense, he highlighted that the Ministry of Tourism has established the necessary conditions to guarantee legal security, institutional support, and a clear roadmap for investors. Likewise, he urged international and local investors to begin evaluating concrete investment steps, noting that the country is at a key stage to attract new capital that bets on emerging destinations with a sustainable vision. "This is the time to start new investments that generate real impact in communities and value for the country," he pointed out. The presentation reaffirms the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic's strategy to diversify the offer beyond traditional destinations, consolidating Cabo Rojo as a national bet that redefines southern tourism and expands sustainable economic development opportunities.
