Santo Domingo.— Miguel Valerio, lawyer of Santiago Hazim, stated that those involved in the case of the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) who have collaborated with the Public Ministry do not have proof that bribes were given to his client.
"The alleged extorted contractors, none gave money to Hazim," explained Valerio.

Valerio also questioned the credibility of the main witness presented by the Public Ministry. "How can you believe a person who repents on two occasions? Fortunately, the new Criminal Procedure Code contemplates the reiteration of the offense," he concluded.
