Luis Miguel De Camps swears in Adolfo Pérez De León as the new director of Inabie

Writing.- The Minister of Education, Luis Miguel De Camps, swore in Rafael Adolfo Pérez De León as the new executive director of the National Institute of Student Welfare (Inabie), on Monday, in compliance with presidential decree 461-25 issued yesterday by the Executive Branch. Pérez De León, an industrial engineer by profession, has specialized training in leadership for public management. Until his recent appointment, he served as general director of the Essential Medicines and Central Logistics Support Program (Promese/Cal), a position he held since 2020.

During his tenure at Promese/Cal, he also integrated the Health Cabinet, where he contributed to the articulation of public policies in the health area. Upon assuming office at INABIE, Pérez De León expressed his commitment to ensure the comprehensive well-being of the student body, through programs that strengthen equitable access to essential services in the educational field. The National Institute of Student Welfare (Inabie) is a dependency of the Ministry of Education in charge of designing and executing policies aimed at guaranteeing the physical and social well-being of students in the pre-university public system.
