San Francisco de Macorís.- Early this Monday morning, an act of violence claimed the life of a man in the vicinity of Los Mártires park, in the municipality of San Francisco de Macorís, in an incident that, according to preliminary reports, originated from a dispute over a turn at a fast-food stand.
The victim was identified as Miguel Ramón Cruz Gómez, who passed away after receiving several gunshot wounds.

During the altercation, a second person, whose identity has not yet been officially revealed, was allegedly injured and is receiving medical attention.
According to preliminary reports, the aggressor, after committing the act, fled the scene and remains a fugitive from justice to this day.
