Santo Domingo.- Legislators of the National Congress expressed their willingness to interpellate the president of the Unified Council of Electricity Distribution Companies (EDEs), Celso Marranzini, to explain the investments in the electricity sector and the long periods of blackouts.
In that sense, Representative Ramón Bueno called Marranzini "the greatest misfortune of the Dominican people," amid growing demands from society for the lack of electricity.
