The sums collected are deposited directly into the collective account of Migration and then, after being confirmed, audited and approved by the National Budget Directorate, are used to cover the regular operational needs of the DGM, which are financed with own funds. The institution assured that it will maintain its strategies to intensify surveillance and sanctions against infractions, to avoid distortions in the labor market and in the rules for the entry of foreign personnel.
