Santo Domingo,. – The Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista, appointed this Thursday Víctor- Ito- Bisonó as the new Minister of Housing, Habitat and Buildings (MIVHED) following the disposition of President Luis Abinader, contained in Decree 3-26.
During the protocol ceremony, Bautista acknowledged the demonstrated effectiveness of the new minister of MIVHED in his previous responsibilities, as well as the historical results of the outgoing incumbent, ensuring that the transition in the aforementioned institution will only involve a new head, but will maintain the high quality standards.You may be interested in: Fire destroys home in El Hoyito, Nagua, without casualties
Bautista described Bisonó as a responsible and efficient official, from whom the same commitment he had in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and SMEs (MICM), now in the MIVHED, can be expected. "We know that he is a dedicated person who is going to continue the projects with the proven quality," he added. The head of the Administrative Office of the Presidency also highlighted that Carlos Bonilla's management concludes successfully and wished him a future in which he can continue to contribute his knowledge and experience for the benefit of the Dominican nation. Upon assuming office, Víctor -Ito- Bisonó expressed his gratitude to President Luis Abinader for the trust placed in him and the opportunity to continue working for Dominicans and affirmed that he assumes the new designation with responsibility and a clear vision of the importance of teamwork, while acknowledging the achievements of his predecessor, Carlos Bonilla, in the articulation of institutions and efforts to fulfill the role of the MIVHED. The new incumbent underscored his commitment to supporting the president's public policy of a decent roof for the Dominican family. "I assume this commitment with the firm purpose of working with order, transparency and focus on results. Here we come to execute real solutions, to listen and to fulfill, always as a team and with the well-being of the people as a priority," said Bisonó. Víctor Bisonó has more than 30 years of institutional service. Since 2020 he had held the position of Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes. From his different roles, he has promoted important policies of competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development.
