PN arrests woman in flagrante delicto for assaulting her mother in Moca

Moca, Espaillat province. – The rapid and timely intervention of the National Police (PN) allowed the arrest in flagrante delicto of a woman caught on video while physically and verbally assaulting her mother, an elderly lady, in an incident that occurred in the La Ermita sector of this municipality. The detainee is Rosa María Castillo, 55 years old, identified as the perpetrator of domestic violence against her mother, Francisca Minerva Alvarado, 78 years old, with whom she resides at the same address. The incident was evidenced in a video spread through social media, which allowed for a quick location by agents of the Operative Department I, stationed in that city.

The aggressor is in police custody and will be sent before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
