Monte Plata, R.D. – The National Police has intensified the search for Esteban Pérez, alias Samuel, who is being sought by the justice system through arrest warrant No. 2025-AJ0032318, issued by the Permanent Attention court of Monte Plata.
Pérez is identified as the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Juan Carlos Jerez Amparo, which occurred on May 24 in Sabana Grande de Boyá. The acts attributed to him constitute violations of several articles of the Dominican Penal Code (295, 296, 297 and 304), as well as the provisions on weapons and ammunition established in Law 631-16.
Investigations suggest that, after the homicide, the fugitive was involved in a confrontation with an individual identified as Heriberto, amid a dispute over the control of drug sales points in Yamasá.
Authorities believe that Pérez is currently accompanied by two individuals known as Markito and El Flaco, who are also believed to be linked to micro-trafficking networks in the area. It is presumed that the group is heavily armed, representing a considerable threat to public safety.
The National Police calls on citizens to avoid any attempt to confront this individual and, instead, collaborate with the authorities by providing information anonymously through the official channels enabled.
