La Romana.– The Provincial Health Directorate (DPS) of La Romana warned citizens and the commercial sector about the presence of individuals posing as employees of the Ministry of Public Health to request undue payments through transfers or bank deposits, under threats of closing establishments.
Through an official statement, the entity clarified that these people do not belong to the institution and that Public Health does not make this type of charges through informal channels or through personal accounts. In that sense, it urged the population not to make any payment without first verifying the authenticity of the information and the identity of the person requesting it.You may be interested in: Carolina greets HOPE/HELP progress
