Santo Domingo. – The director of RD Vial, Hostos Rizik, and the president of the National Central of Unified Transporters (CNTU), Williams Pérez Figuereo, held a meeting this Monday in which they agreed to implement solutions to improve traffic flow at toll booths, especially on the 6 de Noviembre highway.
During the meeting, both parties addressed citizens' concerns about the traffic congestion that has been recorded on that road and discussed measures to ensure a more agile and safe commute.

Rizik highlighted that RD Vial is working to optimize vehicular flow and reduce waiting times, while urging the population to use the Fast Pass system, which is being provided free of charge and can be recharged via WhatsApp. For his part, Pérez Figuereo valued the willingness of the authorities to listen to the concerns of users and to seek joint solutions that contribute to improving mobility. Both agreed that collaboration between the public sector, transporters, and citizens is essential to achieve a more orderly, efficient transit with fewer traffic jams on the country's main roads.
