The RD Vial Trust, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), exempted drivers from toll payments during Good Friday, at all stations located on highways and roads in the country. The measure applies to all toll stations managed by RD Vial along the main road network, including the Duarte Highway, the Las Américas Highway, the 6 de Noviembre Expressway, the East Tourist Boulevard, the Northeast Highway and the other corridors that make up the national toll system. The director of RD Vial, Hostos Risik, indicated that the Government is making a huge economic sacrifice by ceasing to collect this tax, on a day of high mobility, but that the most important thing is to put people first, as this time is conducive to the reunion of Dominican families. “The elimination of the toll charge during that day is not a symbolic gesture: it is a concrete measure of economic relief that directly benefits Dominican families in a moment of shared celebration,” Risik said.

Good Friday is one of the dates with the highest mobilization in the Dominican Republic, as millions of individuals travel to beaches, religious destinations and tourist areas in the interior of the country, particularly towards the south coast and the east corridor and the Cibao Region.

- Baní Ring Road (19.8 km, 17 bridges): streamlines traffic to the south of the country
- Complete Ecological Avenue (12 km): connects Ciudad Juan Bosch with the Las Américas Highway and the Caucedo port
- Eastern Tourist Boulevard: expanded and with latest generation solar LED lighting
- Standardized signage in tourist corridors of La Altagracia: greater safety for the most visited destination in the country
