Constanza, La Vega. – This Saturday, the first pickaxe was given to begin the renovation work of Anacaona Park, one of the most emblematic and representative spaces of the municipality of Constanza, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and local authorities.

Tourism, highlighted the importance of tourism projects reaching communities and not being limited solely to hotel complexes.
"Cities are the people, and the people deserve decent, illuminated, and well-maintained spaces where they can enjoy weekends. We want Constanza to be known not only for its nature, but also for its public spaces where residents and tourists can share," he expressed.
For her part, Ramona Victoriano, known as Belkis, vice mayor of La Vega, pointed out the historical and social relevance of the park.
"Anacaona Park is not just a recreational space, it is the center where the most important activities of our municipality take place: cultural gatherings, family recreation, and festivals. Recognizing its importance, we have firmly and dedicatedly managed this renovation to ensure that Constanza has a park worthy of its history and natural beauty," he affirmed.
Victoriano explained that the work was awarded to the company Patrocitron SRL, with an amount of 23,440,291 million pesos, assuring that every detail of the project will be carried out with quality and efficiency.
The park, located in the heart of the municipality, will serve as a recreational, cultural, and tourist space, where activities such as carnivals, strawberry festivals, athletic races, and religious celebrations will be held, becoming a meeting point for residents and national and international visitors.
"Everything that is done in this beautiful municipality is done with harmony and tranquility. Thanks to Minister David Collado, President Luis Abinader, and the other authorities, today this project is a reality. We are going to welcome it with affection and, united, we will all work for a better Constanza," concluded the vice mayor.
