Santo Domingo.- Henry Junior Zabala, 29 years old, went to the editorial office of De Último Minuto to report the theft of three motorcycles in a period of a year and a half, assuring that despite multiple complaints to the National Police and other instances, he has not received concrete answers.
The complainant explained that he has repeatedly gone to the corresponding police detachment, where he claims to have filed formal complaints and followed up for almost a year, without results.Read more: They denounce aggression in a cell phone store in Boca Chica
“I've gone many times, I spent almost a whole year following up on the previous cases, and they tell me the same thing, that they are working on it and it doesn't go any further,” he stated.
Zabala indicated that on previous occasions, when she was still employed, she managed to recover by acquiring new engines through bank loans. However, her current economic situation prevents her from doing so again.“I no longer have the resources to buy another engine. Before I was employed and could take out loans at the bank and solve the problem, but right now I'm not even employed. I owe for my house, I have a daughter, I have family,” she recounted with concern.
He added that he still has outstanding debts from the last loan and a credit card he used to buy another motorcycle after one of the robberies. “My last resort is over. I can no longer get another engine because I owe the one I had on the loan. I am here to see what we can do, if you can help me, if you can find those criminals,” he expressed. The affected person stated that they have filed complaints, photographs, and videos related to the robberies, which they have presented to the authorities, without any arrests or recovery of the vehicles having been made so far, according to their statement. In turn, he called on the relevant authorities to investigate his case and provide him with the corresponding assistance.
