Santo Domingo. – The former executive director of the National Health Insurance (Senasa), doctor Santiago Hazim, came forward to address questions about his time at the institution, defending that his management was always conducted with honesty and responsibility in the management of public resources.
Hazim recalled that it was during his administration when a millionaire fraud scheme in the medical authorization system was uncovered, which was brought to the attention of the Public Ministry by Senasa itself.
