Seeking help for families who lost everything after fire in Jacagua

Santo Domingo.- Several families in the Jacagua sector, on Braulia de Paula street, near Guaricano and Colina Centro, were left homeless after a voracious fire reduced two houses and a workshop to ashes, while two others were seriously affected. Witnesses reported that the flames completely consumed the rooms, leaving those affected without belongings, clothes, or furniture.

The residents reported that the firefighters from the nearest detachment could not arrive on time because their trucks are damaged. The intervention of units from La Victoria was necessary, but by the time they arrived, the community had already put out most of the fire. The affected families appeal to the solidarity of the population to receive any type of help: clothing, household goods and basic necessities, as they were completely deprived after the fire.
