According to the project, the reform aims to strengthen the professionalization of agents, establish a career system with greater guarantees, and promote more efficient, transparent police management that is aligned with the needs of the citizenry.
The initiative must be reviewed again by the Senate in a second discussion before continuing the corresponding legislative process for its eventual final approval.
