Teenagers who were with the missing minor in Los Mameyes confirm that he fell into the sea on Avenida España

SANTO DOMINGO. – Several teenagers who were with Adaury Miguel Castillo Valera, known as “Miniquito”, broke the silence after his disappearance and confirmed that the minor fell into the waters of the Caribbean Sea on Avenida España, sector Los Mameyes.

According to a source of full credibility, the group was bathing in the rain when they decided to approach the seashore. At that moment, a strong wave swept away Adaury Miguel, who could not get out of the water.

The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, and the minor has been missing since then. Authorities are keeping some of the teenagers under investigation who were with him to clarify the circumstances of the event. In the place, search and rescue efforts continue with the participation of members of the Civil Defense, the Fire Department, the National Police and community residents, who have joined the efforts. However, the firefighters reported that the sea conditions and bad weather have made it difficult to enter the waters, so maritime operations remain limited for the time being.
