A moment of tension was recorded on the morning of this Wednesday inside the Basilica Cathedral Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, in Higüey, when Mr. Luis José Domínguez suffered a health incident that forced his immediate evacuation from the temple.
The event occurred during the solemn celebrations in honor of the Virgen de la Altagracia, patron saint of the Dominican people, a religious act that each year brings together civil and military authorities and figures from national public life.
Domínguez, father of Ramfis Domínguez Trujillo, was assisted by the rescue services that were on the scene, who proceeded to remove him on a stretcher, to the attention and concern of the parishioners present.
