Three young people die in a traffic accident in front of the Botanical Garden of Santiago

Santiago. – Three young people lost their lives and two others were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred early Monday morning near the Botanical Garden, on the Jacagua road in Santiago. According to preliminary information, the vehicle’s driver lost control and hit a crane located on the aforementioned road.

The fatalities were identified as Juan Andrés Collado Acevedo, Garibaldy Corniel Inoa, and Hernández Mena González, who died at the scene of the accident. All were residents of the Jacagua area. The vehicle they were traveling in was completely destroyed, evidencing the magnitude of the impact. The tragic event has generated consternation among family, friends, and neighbors of the deceased, who have expressed their grief on social media in the face of the loss. Units from the National Emergency System 9-1-1, personnel from the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (Digesett), and members of the National Police went to the scene, who initiated investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
