Tragedy on the Nagua–Cabrera highway: Two young people lose their lives in a traffic accident

Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez.– Early this Monday morning, a fatal accident occurred on the road connecting Nagua with Cabrera, resulting in the death of two young people and plunging the community into mourning. Among the victims is Yodauri Concepción Vargas, a resident of the PRD neighborhood and son of Mrs. Yocasta, who is well-known in the area. Concepción was traveling with Rocío Espinal, who also lost her life in the incident.

According to preliminary reports, the vehicle they were traveling in lost control and crashed violently. Witnesses indicated that the impact was of great magnitude, causing both occupants to die at the scene, without the possibility of receiving medical assistance. Family members, friends, and community members have expressed their dismay through social media, describing Yodauri as a hardworking young man who was appreciated in his community. Authorities have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident and reiterated the call to drive with caution on the roads of the province of Maria Trinidad Sánchez.
