Two men arrested for alleged involvement in the death of a young woman in Guerra

Santo Domingo.- The National Police reported this Monday the arrest of two of three men linked to the death of the young Reynalda Carrasco Antoine, 22 years old, whose body was found inside a cistern in the El Capacito sector, San Antonio de Guerra municipality. The detainees are Jason Stward Javier Cabral (alias Copiloto), 24 years old; and Pablo Antonio Calcaño Silverio (Maiky), 43, who are in custody at the Division of Crimes Against Persons (Homicides), “after being caught in the act”, according to the National Police, who is pursuing another man only identified as “Patrón y Capital”, identified as the alleged main perpetrator of the crime.

According to the preliminary report, the investigating agents were alerted to the presence of a dead person inside a cistern. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers confirmed the discovery of the young woman’s body. Subsequently, the police officers proceeded with the interview process and evidence collection in order to identify the alleged perpetrators. The case is under investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event and determine responsibilities. The detainees will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, while the operations to capture the fugitive continue.
