Santo Domingo. — The spokesperson for the National Police, Diego Pesqueira, confirmed this Monday the arrest of a man known as Yakomo Hernández, identified as the driver of the vehicle in which the urban artist Masha was traveling at the time of the armed attack that occurred on Monday morning on 27 de Febrero Avenue, in the National District.

The police spokesman added that the man is listed in institutional records as a fugitive from justice for a previous homicide case, for which he was also actively sought. The attack occurred around 3:00 in the morning, when the vehicle in which five people were traveling was intercepted by unknown individuals who opened fire and fled the scene. The Public Ministry continues the interrogations of survivors and the collection of security camera footage in the area, as part of the investigations to identify and capture the other responsible parties.
