The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, January 9, 2026, as follows:
In financial institutions, the euro's buying rate was RD$72.52, while the selling rate reached RD$76.82.
These values reflect a slight depreciation compared to the close of the year 2025, with a variation of -0.06% in the purchase and -0.04% in the sale.
On the other hand, remittance and exchange agents reported slightly higher exchange rates for buying, setting it at RD$73.17, and a selling rate of RD$75.32.
At the end of 2025, this sector showed a purchase rate of RD$73.21, which represents a minimal appreciation of 0.05% at the beginning of this new cycle.
