This Thursday, Dominican urban music celebrates a new milestone after the platinum record certification, awarded by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) to the song “Con Sonido” a production of Alofoke Music that unites the Dominican urban artists Bulín 47 and Ceky Viciny.
"With Sound", an energetic dembow, with fusions and modern and innovative rhythms, features businessman Santiago Matías as general producer and the outstanding creative Breyco as musical producer. The song was distributed by Vulcano Music and Alofoke Music Records and currently exceeds 49 million views on its official YouTube video, which was directed by director AD Media, in addition to accumulating millions of listens on Spotify and other digital platforms.
This platinum record for Bulín 47 and Ceky Viciny represents a significant impact for Dominican urban music, as it is a certification from the music industry that recognizes the commercial success of a single or album when it exceeds a certain number of units sold or its equivalent in streaming reproductions.
