The Dominican actress and presenter Clarissa Molina decided to withdraw the legal proceedings she had initiated against the model Sophinel Báez and the producer Juan Carlos Albelo, after measures were taken to eliminate and clarify the content that caused the controversy.
The decision was confirmed by her legal representative, Julio Cury, who explained that the communicator chose not to continue with the lawsuit after Albelo removed publications related to the topic and Báez released a public statement clarifying her statements.

As the jurist explained, Molina was satisfied with the steps taken so far by those involved. He also indicated that a new publication by Báez was expected, in which he would directly mention the presenter to complete the rectification process. The conflict arose after a public conversation about beauty pageants, in which Báez, who was first runner-up in the Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2015, made comments that questioned the legitimacy of Molina's victory in that contest. The statements generated a wide debate on social media and in the media. However, with the decision to withdraw the legal action, Molina seeks to close the episode and leave behind the controversy that arose from those accusations.
