NEW YORK.– Amidst the federal trial against businessman and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, his son Christian, artistically known as King Combs, has spoken out through music. The young man released a new song this weekend titled “Diddy Free”, in collaboration with Kanye West, as an expression of support for his father.
The song is part of a seven-track EP titled Never Stop, available on digital platforms, with musical production by Kanye West himself, who has also publicly shown his support for the founder of Bad Boy Records. "Diddy Free" is a track loaded with direct statements and verses in defense of Combs, whose lyrics allude to the media and judicial pressure he is facing. "With a clean face, they try to tarnish the image," says one of the verses. The chorus delivers a forceful message: "N----s won't go to sleep until we see Diddy free." King Combs, who has followed in his father's footsteps in the music industry, assured that his project represents a manifestation of love and family loyalty. Kanye West, for his part, not only produced the EP, but has also been present in court during part of the judicial process. Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in September 2024 and is currently facing federal charges for sexual trafficking, conspiracy, and transportation for the purpose of prostitution, among other accusations. The trial, which began in May 2025, has captured global attention due to the severity of the allegations and the magnitude of the figures involved. The Prosecution has presented 34 witnesses, including his ex-partner Cassie Ventura, who testified under oath that she was a victim of sexual assault, physical violence, threats, and manipulation during the 11 years of her relationship with Combs. For their part, the defense maintains that all encounters were consensual and describes the accusations as an attempt at "media and financial disrepute" against the artist. Kanye West's participation in the project has not gone unnoticed. In addition to his role as music producer for *Never Stop*, the rapper and designer has also attended New York court on several occasions to show his support for Diddy, with whom he has maintained a close relationship for years. The song "Diddy Free" has already begun to circulate widely on social media, where it has generated mixed reactions among fans, music critics, and advocates for victims' rights. As the jury prepares to deliberate, the case against Sean Combs remains one of the most high-profile and controversial of the year in the realm of entertainment and federal justice in the United States.Diddy's son releases song with Kanye West in defense of his father amid federal trial
