For the first time, male voices lead musical segments at the awards ceremony
Santo Domingo.– The third edition of the Women Who Inspire Awards will be filled with music featuring the voices of merengue singer Héctor Acosta “El Torito”, singer-songwriter Pavel Núñez and emerging artist Marteen Franko, who will headline a tribute to women on a night where seven female personalities from different sectors of society will be recognized.
This year, the production integrates male voices that, throughout their careers, have honored women. Therefore, of the five musical segments, three will be represented by men.

“Este año contamos con el carisma y el talento de tres hombres que, desde sus espacios y trayectorias, están haciendo sus aportes al arte y al reconocimiento de la mujer dominicana”, sostuvo Elka Núñez,productora general del evento. Por tercera ocasión, el premio reúne a mujeres de diferentes partes del país para celebrar sus logros y compromiso.
For this occasion, the female representation is in the hands of Clara González, an artist who is making her way with talent and a good repertoire; as well as Williamny Bisonó, who is part of the new artists training at the International School of Contemporary Music of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU), and will be in charge of performing the official theme of the awards, “Toda mujer,” composed by Cinthia Montero, with arrangements by Antonio González, the award’s musical director.

“This year we created a synergy with the UNPHU International School of Music, because it is important that in spaces like this award we can make visible those emerging talents who are being trained and need our support. The school does a formidable job that we want to continue projecting,” said Emelyn Baldera, executive producer and creator of the award, which continues to consolidate itself as a platform for recognizing female leadership. For this edition, 1,412 applications were registered from women from different countries around the world.
The awards ceremony will be held on June 23rd at the Casa San Pablo Theater and will have the support of public and private institutions committed to recognizing women’s contribution to the development of society.
In three editions, the Women Who Inspire Award has become a benchmark for recognizing female leadership, highlighting stories of individuals whose legacy, talent, and commitment generate impact and serve as inspiration for new generations.

The honorees are chosen by the members of the Advisory Council, and the award selects profiles to honor their contributions and work in the categories: Education, Professional Achievement, Social Commitment, Entrepreneurship, Professional Career, Leader of the Year, and Digital Leadership, the latter being incorporated in this edition.
