Santo Domingo. - Model Fátima Bosch Fernández was crowned as the new Miss Universe Mexico 2025 after winning the national final held on Saturday, September 13 in Zapopan, Jalisco.
With this result, the native of Teapa, Tabasco, becomes the official representative of Mexico for the 74th edition of the international contest, scheduled for November 2025 in Thailand.
The event took place at the Conjunto Santander de Artes Escénicas and brought together candidates from different entities in the country. The day concluded with the coronation of Bosch, who will take on the preparation to represent the country before a global audience.
The new national representative is 25 years old and has professional training in Clothing and Fashion Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She has also studied at international institutions such as the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA), in Milan, Italy, and the Lyndon Institute in Vermont, United States.
The organizing committee of the national contest highlighted the academic and professional profile of the winner, as well as her performance during the different stages of the contest. Bosch will be in charge of continuing Mexico's participation in the international competition, where the country has had a constant presence in recent years.
In addition to her academic background, the Mexican representative has developed activities in disciplines such as tennis, horseback riding, music, and visual arts. This multidisciplinary training is part of the profile evaluated in the national contest.
With her designation, Fátima Bosch begins a preparation agenda for Miss Universe 2025, which will include training, public speaking training, runway and social work, according to sources from the national committee.
